Pencil-Shaped Pencil Case

Hi Chickadees its  Chicky 2 here and today I will be showing you
how to make a pencil-shaped pencil case.

Pencil-Shaped Pencil Case 











You will need:
Wool:
 black, peach, any other colour of your preference, pink, and purple grey
Scissors
Hook:G/6-4.25mm
Button
  Needle  
As a stitch marker because this is worked in continuous rounds I used 30x bobbie pins





Lead {Use black wool}
Rnd 1 ~ 6 sc in a magic ring 
Rnd 2 ~ 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3 ~ *sc 1 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times  (18)
Rnd 4 ~ *sc 2 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times (24)
Rnd 5-6~ sc in each st (24)
{Use peach wool}
Rnd 7 ~ * sc 3 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times (30)
Rnd 8 ~ *sc 4 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times (36)
Rnd 9 ~ *sc 5 , 2 sc in next st* repeat 6 times (42)
Rnd 10 ~ * sc 6 , 2 sc in next st* repeat 6 times (48)
{Use your preferred colour 
Rnd 11-14 ~ sc in each st (48)
Rnd 15 ~ *in back loops only* sc in each st (48)
Rnd 16-31 ~ sc in each sc (48)
Fasten off 
Three rows down surface crochet around that row 
sc on top of the surface crochet
Fasten off


Rubber {Use pink wool}
Rnd 1 ~ 6 sc in a magic ring 
Rnd 2 ~ 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3 ~ *sc 1 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times  (18)
Rnd 4 ~ *sc 2 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times (24)
Rnd 5 ~ *sc 3 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times (30)
Rnd 6 ~ *sc 4 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times (36)
Rnd 7 ~ *sc 5 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times (42)
Rnd 8 ~ *sc 6 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times (48)
Rnd 9 ~ *in back loops only* sc in each st (48)
Rnd 10-13 ~ sc in each st (48)
{Use purple grey wool}
Rnd 14-16 ~ sc in each stitch
Fasten off



Loop {Use ur preferred colour from before}
Rnd 1 ~ ch 20
Fasten off


Button 
Sew your button 9 rnds down from the top {Use parents help if needed}


Assembly 
I would recommend a parents help with this part that's if you are children

  1. Sew the rubber half way on the yellow where the surface crochet and the sc is
  2. Attach the chs on the last rnd of the pink for the rubber so that it can attach to the button

Narwhal Crochet Pattern

Hi Chickadees! It's Chicky 1 here. This is our very first pattern!  In this pattern I will show you how to make a Narwhal! Narwhals are real creatures and if you want to find out more about these creatures you can click here: National Geographic

Narwhal Crochet Pattern 

  So here's the pattern! 

 

You will need-
Crochet Hook- 4.00 (G)
Wool- Any shade of blue
 -White/ Cream
2x 6mm safety eyes
Black embroidery thread
Fibre Fill
This pattern is worked in continuous rounds so I would reccomend a stitch marker. I just use a bobbie pin! 




Body
Rnd 1 ~ 6 sc in a magic ring 
Rnd 2 ~ 2 sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3 ~ *sc 1 , 2sc in next st * repeat 6 times  (18)
Rnd 4 ~ *sc 2 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times (24)
Rnd 5 ~ * sc 3 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times (30)
Rnd 6 ~ *sc 4 , 2 sc in next st * repeat 6 times (36)
   At this point you should place eyes onto the Narwhal
Rnd 7-17 ~ sc in each sc around (36)
Rnd 18 ~ *sc 4 , invisible dec 1* repeat 6 times (30)
Rnd 19 ~ sc in each sc around (30)
Rnd 20 ~*sc 3 , invisible dec 1* repeat 6 times (24)
Rnd 21 ~ sc in each sc around (24)
Rnd 22 ~ *sc 2 , invisible dec 1* repeat 6 times (18)
Rnd 23 ~ sc in each sc around (18)
       At this point you should stuff your Narwhal
Rnd 24 ~ * sc 1 invisible dec 1* repeat 6 times (12)
Rnd 25 ~ sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 26 ~  *invisible dec 1 * repeat 6 times 
Fasten off and weave in ends 


Fins
(Make 2)
Rnd 1 ~ 3 dc in magic ring
Rnd 2 ~ ch 1 and turn , 2 dc in each dc 
Fasten off
Make sure to leave a long tail for sewing onto the Narwhal

Tail
Rnd 1~ (In a magic ring) tr 3, dc4, tr 1, dc 4, tr 3, sl st
Fasten off
Make sure to leave a long tail for sewing onto the Narwhal 

Tooth (It's not actually a horn)
You can use white or cream wool for this
Rnd 1 ~ ch 10, sl st into 1st stitch to form a ring
Rnd 2 ~ 12 sc into ring
Rnd 3-8 ~ sc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 9 ~  *sc 2 , invisible dec 1 * repeat 4 times (9)
Rnd 10 ~ sc in each sc around (9)
Rnd 11 ~ * sc 1 invisible dec 1* repeat 3 times (6)
Rnd 12 ~ sc in each sc around (6)
Rnd 13 ~ *invisible dec 1 * repeat 3 times (3)
Fasten off
Weave in the wool at the top of the tooth
Make sure to leave a long tail for sewing onto the Narwhal
